개인 프로젝트로 URBAN WALKS SEOUL의 브랜딩을 진행하였습니다.
어반웍스는 서울의 다양한 골목과 거리를 소개하고 서울도보관광 - Seoul City Walking Tours(free) 프로그램의 참여를 돕는 서비스입니다. 이 앱은 서울을 방문한 여행자들이 도보 여행의 묘미를 느낄 수 있도록 설계 되었으며, 서울 시내 주요 지역의 오프라인 맵을 제공하여 도보 여행을 즐길 수 있도록 도와줍니다. App의 경우, 여행자들이 다양한 시내 이벤트와 프로그램들의 일정 확인/예약 등을 손쉽게 진행할 수 있도록 핵심 기능에 중점을 둔 심플한 UI를 적용하였습니다.
I worked on the branding of URBAN WALKS SEOUL as a personal project. UrbanWalks is a service that introduces Seoul’s diverse alleys and streets while helping users participate in the Seoul City Walking Tours (free) program. This app is designed to let visitors fully experience the charm of exploring Seoul on foot. It provides offline maps of key areas in the city, making self-guided walking tours more accessible. To ensure a seamless experience, the app features a simple, user-friendly UI focused on essential functions, allowing travelers to easily check schedules, book programs, and stay updated on various city events.
Logo design
본 서비스의 확장성을 고려하여 ‘Urbanwalks.’를 공통적인 텍스트 로고로 활용하고, 로고 상단에 도시 또는 지역명을 추가한 뒤 배경색을 변경하는 방식으로 쉽게 확장 및 변형할 수 있도록 설계했습니다. 향후 새로운 도시나 지역이 추가될 경우, 텍스트와 배경색만 변경해 각 여행지의 개성을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있습니다.
With scalability in mind, we designed the text logo 'Urbanwalks.' as a common element, allowing for easy expansion and modification by adding the city or region name above the logo and assigning a unique background color. As new cities or regions become supported by the service, simply updating the text and background color will effectively highlight the unique character of each destination.
UI/UX design
UI는 어반웍스 브랜드 컨셉과의 통일성을 위하여 간결하고 트렌디한 서체를 적용, 플랫한 디자인으로 진행하였습니다. 메인페이지에서 원하는 항목으로 손쉽게 이동할 수 있도록 검색창+모아보기 기능을 적용하고, 상세페이지 내에서는 불필요한 페이지 이동 없이 스크롤만으로 다양한 정보를 습득할 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다.
I applied a simple and trendy typeface and a flat design to maintain consistency with the UrbanWalks brand concept. The main page features a search bar and a curated view function, enabling easy navigation. On detailed pages, users can seamlessly access various information by scrolling, without unnecessary page transitions.
